BMW, lead partner for Bridex 2009

BMW Group Asia and QAF Auto Sdn Bhd handed over a fleet of BMW 5 Series and BMW 3 Series limousines to the Organising Committee of Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) 2009, the Royal Brunei Training Services (RBTS) recently.

Seventy-four units of BMW 5 Series and BMW 3 Series will be used as transportation for the VIPs during the conference from August 12 to 15.

Last Saturday, QAF Auto personnel at the Ministry of Defence in Berakas also conducted a technical briefing on the BMW 5 and 3 Series.

The briefing was attended by several army personnel who will be involved in the transportation of delegates at the Bridex 2009 event.

An official from RBTS said, “We are grateful for BMW’s strong support of the BRIDEX exhibition and the conference hosted by the sultanate.”

He aserted that BMW’s provision of the limousines to the committee will enable them to provide the VIPs with a comfortable mode of transportation during their stay in Brunei.

“We are also confident of the excellent working relationship with QAF and BMW Asia Limited, given their previous experiences in meeting the transportation requirements of other high-profile events such as the Asean Summit in 2007,” added the official.
